and here's a play you might wanna see... pay what you will tonight - Monday Mar. 27

I did sound design on this show,
and have been thoroughly entertained everytime I've seen it...
great performances, a funny, sharp script,
and the sound design ain't too shabby either.

pay what you will show tonight
at midtown arts center.

Three young urban failures navigate the slippery allegiances of their triangular friendship. Babette , a frustrated editor; Theo, a terribly blocked, classically-trained composer; and Frank, an aspiring but tongue-tied auctioneer, share a world of quicksand needs and fickle urges, where a vast landscape exists between what is intended and what is construed, and where ordering Chinese food is a deeply personal matter.

Mildred's Umbrella is right at home with Melissa James Gibson's [Sic] , winner of an OBIE Award and the Kesserling Prize, with its quirky, off-beat script full of wordplay and oddball characters.

Directed by Michelle Edwards and featuring Alan Hall, Eric Doss, and Jennifer Decker, [Sic] opens March 24, 2006 and runs through April 15, each Friday and Saturday, as well as two “pay as you like” Monday shows, March 27 and April 10. All shows are at 8pm .
