This recording comes from a brief period in the band's life when we played songs and had a singer.
She's under contract now, so I won't mention her name, but she's awesome...
We brought her in to do "Theme de Yoyo" and that sounded so good we added the Nina Simone cover - next thing ya know we were working up a set, and soon free jazz legends, TDU, were an R&B/Soul band...
