It's funny, but he's not kidding. Women's undergarments were and have been a real luxury item ever since I arrived at the Astrodome a few days ago. Ms. Broussard went without panties for over a week before we finally bought her some that fit.
If you have a few that are clean and you can spare, find a charitable organization around town (I don't believe the Astrodome is currently accepting donations) and give them.
