I think that's exactly the point you were making when you responded to my praise of the N.O. music scene relative to Houston's. Much more about art for art's sake, and there is, obviously, great value in that.

It's just nice to hear someone in a "successful" Houston band say the same thing...
Me and my peeps are used to playing for 4 people (or less), glad to know it happens to other folks...
